Grant & Kristi Gustafson serve as “ministers at large” in the Seattle area, working to raise up the next generation of Jesus-centered leaders. In a world with widening divides politically, ethnically, culturally, and theologically, Grant and Kristi seek to commit themselves to the “ministry of reconciliation” outlined by the apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 5:17-21. They are passionate about seeing individuals and communities reconciled first to God, and then to one another through the person of Jesus, His teachings, and His living Spirit.
Grant and Kristi partner with different ministries, forming needed connections between groups of people who often hold vastly different perspectives. In this last season, the Gustafson’s have invested in college students alongside groups such as The INN at University Presbyterian Church, and the Vision 16 community at the University of Washington. They also work with a team called Centered who constructs Jesus-centered leadership gatherings and facilitates the various Prayer Breakfast events in Washington state. Along with the Centered team, Grant and Kristi spend a significant amount of time in Washington D.C., helping facilitate the National Prayer Breakfast, a tool that helps build world-wide friendships in Jesus. They currently live in the University District in Seattle.
