Cultivate Joy

In our seemingly endless emergence from the COVID pandemic, many of us are haphazardly constructing a new sense of normal. Our faith is in a God who not only can handle all unknowns, and is faithful to provide everything we need - but in our fatigue, grief and holding of other’s fatigue/grief, what are the next steps we can take to fully lean into what God is doing today?

Cultivating joy is our theme for this year’s VERGE, as it speaks to the hope of restoration and wonder that God is known to bring, while also not diminishing the reality of the full spectrum of life we have experienced over the last few years. Sometimes moving towards joy takes a little work, and as we move with intention to shape our lives and our communities around what matters, we hope to give you some tools to till the ground and receive what God is up to.

We have invited speakers who will invite us to find our grounding in God - by being more present in ourselves and in our creation than we often let ourselves be. May it be a space for you to find peace, and may you allow God to plant seeds that will grow into an abundance of joy!
